What My Burnout Taught Me About Light

There was a month where everything in my life felt dim - dull.
I was doing all the right things: eating okay, exercising, socializing, yet I felt disconnected from everything, even the things I loved.
When I started using red light for my vitiligo, I didn’t think it would help emotionally. I was just curious to see if it would help. But the weirdest thing happened–those ten minutes a day became a space where I didn’t have to do anything.
That glow slowly brought color back into my days, and onto my skin simultaneously.
Not because of magic, but because it reminded me what presence feels like. It’s hard to explain, but it was like my body remembered how to feel alive again.
Sometimes healing doesn’t come from big changes.
Sometimes it’s just giving yourself a little light when life feels gray.
